The State of Kansas is implementing a new PeopleSoft 9.0 Financial Management System (nicknamed SMART) which will include up-to-date accounting and purchasing modules. You will see new websites from the Division of Purchases, new bid documents and other changes as well.
It will be very important for you to register your business to with the Division of Purchases, for the following reasons:
· To bid on events, registered bidders must be invited in SMART by the Procurement
Officer BEFORE the bid closes.
· If invited, registered bidders will be able to receive bid event documents via e-mail.
· If not invited by the Procurement Officer, registered bidders will receive notification of bid events based on their category code registration.
