The new Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark opens this summer in Kansas City, Kansas with signature Schlitterbahn attractions including slides, chutes, tubing rivers and more!
Those interested in bidding on current and future projects at Schlitterbahn Vacation Village are encouraged to register with Schlitterbahn in order to receive bid opportunities. Once an organization registers, they are added to the distribution list for bid opportunities as they be come available for construction projects and supplies for the 2009 waterpark . They will also be considered for other jobs during future phases of construction. Organizations must register to be considered. Please relay this information to your organization or members. CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
Schlitterbahn Entry Building
Subcontract Opportunity (existing 30,500 SF structure). Plans for this building are available at the office of KC Blueprint and Planroom, 2106 Swift, North Kansas City, Missouri 64116, (telephone (816) 527-0900).

Scheels Shell Package
Sealed bids for a single prime contract for the construction of the building shell package for a Scheels All Sports store at Schlitterbahn Vacation Village in Kansas City, Kansas will be received by the owner, SVV I at the office of Michael Catcott, 9400 State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas 66101 by mail or personal delivery until 2:00 P.M., THURSDAY, April 30, 2009.
The Work shall include concrete footings and foundations, concrete floor slab, exterior wall framing and structural systems, exterior masonry, exterior insulation and finish system, roof framing and roof covering, insulation, doors, windows, exterior signage, and conveying systems, electrical generator and switchgear.
Drawings, specifications, and other contract documents may be obtained at the office of KC Blueprint and Planroom, 2106 Swift, North Kansas City, Missouri 64116, (telephone (816) 527-0900) at Contractor's costs. Plans and specifications will be available April 15, 2009.
All bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope upon which shall be plainly marked "BID FOR SCHEELS SHELL PACKAGE – KANSAS CITY, KANSAS" and the name of the bidder. If a bid is to be mailed to the Owner, the bid envelope shall be sealed in a regular mailing envelope. FAX Bids are not accepted.
The Owner reserves the right to hold and consider the bids for 60 days after the date of the bid opening.
Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, bidder's bond, or certified check payable to OWNER for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid including add-alternates. A bidder's bond shall include certified copy of the power of attorney.
The right to waive any informality in any bid and reject any or all bids is reserved to the Owner.
