REM for HUG and Efficiency Kansas 
November 6 and 8 (Saturday day & Monday eve): Learn the skills to enter building data, utility information, create libraries, and do an Improvement Analysis. You will also learn how to convert the Improvement Analysis Report to a work order, a scope of work,  and an Energy Conservation Plan. This course will be a full Saturday and a Monday evening for those of us that can't take off work. Completion of this course is worth 7.5 BPI CEU credits
 
EETC Energy Auditor Certification training
November 8-12 (Mon-Fri): (This class/certification is given in partnership with the Metropolitan Energy Center). Qualifies  auditors for states of Kansas and Missouri.
 
Supplemental CAZ/Furnace training
Nov 11:(for auditors with RESNET/HERS certification who wish to perform Efficiency Kansas audits and audits for Missouri programs --Completion of this course is worth 2.75 BPI CEU credits

Supplemental REM training 
Nov 9-10-12: (for BPI certified who wish to upgrade to EETC Energy Auditor Certification) Building information entry, utilities, libraries, improvement analysis, homework building entry, improvement analysis, and scope writing necessary for incentive programs. Completion of this course is worth 7.5 BPI CEU credits

Efficiency Kansas Requirements Supplemental Training  Prerequisite: BPI Building Analyst or EETC Energy Auditor CertificationThis class will review the following requirements for the Efficiency Kansas Program:: REM improvement analysis and how to incorporate that into a project scope of work required for the Energy Conservation Plan - Additional combustion appliance testing required - Checklist and submittal package and procedures

BPI Building Analyst Certification training 
 
November 8-12:The BPI (Building Performance Institute) Building Analyst certification is a nationally recognized standard for contractors in weatherization and home energy analysis. This training provides a thorough understanding of Building Science, including weatherization materials and techniques, as well as health, safety and air quality testing in homes. 4 days of classroom and field training, followed by BPI certification exams on the 5th day.

BPI Envelope Specialist Certification training  
Prerequisite: BPI Building Analyst Certification Training
BPI Envelope Specialist furthers the Building Analyst's knowledge of the building thermal boundary and it's relation to building sciences and energy use. You will learn about the different components of the building shell including: Insulation types, uses, and advantages and disadvantages - Air and moisture barriers - Attic walls and vault ceilings. You will also learn advanced techniques in building diagnostics including: Zonal pressure differentials, Blower door, duct blaster, and pressure pan diagnostics, and  Additional CAZ and equipment inspections. Completion of this course is worth 7.5 BPI CEU credits Completion of this course is worth 8.5 BPI CEU credits 
 
 
OSHA 10-Hour Training for Construction    
Nov 17-18 (Wed-Thurs): This is a great basic Safety and Health course for anyone in the construction and weatherization trades, (including Home Energy Auditors) -- and satisfies the OSHA portion of the requirements to bid/work in the KCMO low income weatherization program, (and many other state and local programs). Completion of course results in: OSHA 10 CARD for Construction Safety and Health
 
Lead for Renovators
Nov 19 (Friday): (This certification is required by EPA for all weatherization and construction contractors). This hands-on one-day class is fast-paced and receives very high reviews! Completion of this course is worth 4.5 BPI CEU credits
