The Aspen Institute Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy Group (YESG)
The Aspen Institute Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy Group (YESG) convened its second annual conference at the Wye River Conference Center, May 7-9, 2008, to develop key strategies towards advancing entrepreneurship education in our nation's schools, especially in low-income community. Members from 24 organizations including America's Promise Alliance, were challenged to undertake two objectives: 1) To educate policy makers about entrepreneurship education and the powerful changes it can elicit in young people, and 2) To link these impacts with wider societal and policy concerns and desires for national change in a diverse set of policy discussions.
